It does not take a great deal of political sophistication to recognize a bad faith distraction. It does not take a great deal of moral study to recognize bigotry. It does not take a great deal of personal integrity to recognize bullying. To see, and name, and reject these things is the minimum that I would expect of anyone who aspires to public elected office.
