Stevey’s released a new JavaScript major mode for Emacs. I hope to update my comparison of the various JavaScript major modes to include a review of js2-mode in the near future, but I’m not going to make any promises.

My initial impression: so far so good, though the default indentation behavior and syntax highlighting leave something to be desired. I’ve updated color-theme-hober2 to include js2’s faces.
