What I miss about Google Reeder is that people of all kinds were incentivized to read and write blogs.

In the era of Reeder, my wife, my brothers and sisters, they all followed and read blogs via rss. And we conversed about the variety of sites and topics we read.

Now none of them follow rss feeds.

Idk what you can pin this down to precisely, probably incentives, but that’s what I miss: the cultural moment of my non-tech fam & friends publishing, following, and talking about blogs.
