A flier that says "A precipitous rise in the cost of living coupled with wage stagnation has led to a shortfall in consumer spending which is killing small businesses and destroying our vibrant community" and has "The Better Valencia Plan is good for bikes and businesses. Read more at BetterValencia.com" at the bottom. The sign is a parody of a sign on some store fronts on Valencia Street in San Francisco that blames the new bike lanes on Valencia for "killing small businesses and our vibrant community"

A few merchants still have those anti-bike-lane signs in their store windows, so I designed an updated version they could use instead.

Rather than blaming bike lanes, it would be nice to see merchants support the https://bettervalencia.com/ plan. Safer streets drive higher foot traffic and more repeat sales. Plus, we all know that SAFER STREETS SAVE LIVES, so why do we have to frame this as an economic issue in the first place?
