It can be hard to remember how much good there is in the world, especially when each morning’s news brings us some fresh horror. But today is Thanksgiving and I’ve got a lot to be thankful for.

First and foremost, I’m thankful for our little family: Eryn, EJ, and our kitties. We’re each healthy & able to afford a roof over our heads and food for our table. Parenting EJ continues to be the most wonderful adventure for me.

I’m thankful for our extended families—my folks, sister, brother-in-law, and many cousins back home in New England; the blended family EJ has in California & beyond; Eryn’s family in Arizona, who’ve welcomed me with open arms; our chosen family of friends here in SF and scattered all over the world.
