LA really energizes me in ways that small cities just don’t. I think there’s something beautiful about the way millions of people from completely different backgrounds get together in one place. It’s not always comfortable but it’s the sort of diversity and density I enjoy. It tastes better than other kinds.

(I don’t love the cars or the traffic, but not living here full time I find it doable if I plan my time here in geographical chunks)
