桜祭り (さくらまつり)

EJ & I took the California Cable Car to meet up with Eryn at her dojo, and from there the three of us walked to Japantown together for the annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival. The weather didn’t cooperate—it was overcast and rainy—but we had fun anyway. Fair food was eaten, crowds were threaded, shops were perused, swords were gawked at, calligraphy was admired. 🌸
