Anyway it's really depressing how many liberals are responding to Trump by saying WE MUST SIMPLY BE EVEN TOUGHER ON CRIME as though the "tough on crime" rhetoric isn't the exact sort of manufactured consent for institutional carceral racism that got us here in the first place.
