EJ is nine years old and in the third grade. She’s artistic, creative, and has a real mind for languages. Eryn and I have been dating for six years, and living together for almost a year. We live in Bernal Heights, near Precita Park. We visited Japan twice last year: in the spring with EJ, and in the autumn.

Work-wise, I’ve been at Apple for almost fifteen years; I’ve been managing an engineering team since 2022. I got elected President of Ecma at the end of last year. My third (and final?) term on the W3C TAG wrapped up last February, and I was elected to the W3C AB a few months later, in June.

In my copious spare time</sarcasm> I’ve been blogging, enjoying the golden age of Star Trek, fiddling with my website, reading chessy sapphic romance novels, collecting keyboards and watches, consuming entirely too much YouTube, and despairing for our country, for humanity, and for our planet.
