A sheep dressed like a doctor is examining a Seiko watch with a stethoscope. The doctor is joyous; apparently, they were able to repair the watch. There are a number of other animals standing around the watch. They are also celebrating.

Here are some pieces I don’t wear but are permanent parts of my collection.

Watches ()

Bucherer

A small, rectangular, gold watch has a simple white dial with gold stick indicies and matching gold stick hands. Its gold bracelet has a wavy pattern.
Bucherer

I have an old Bucherer dress watch of my mom’s. It hasn’t worked in years—she didn’t take it off before doing the dishes and yeah, it’s not exactly a dive watch. It can’t be repaired.

Elgin

A vintage, tonneau-shaped gold dress watch. It has a subdial at 6:00 with the running seconds hand.
Elgin

My great grandfather gave my dad this small Elgin dress watch for his First Communion in the mid-1940s. It doesn’t currently run. I’d like to have it repaired so I can give it to EJ.

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum

A gold-colored watch is being worn on a black leather strap. The watch has a blue dial, which features JFK’s presidential seal on it. The bezel is silver in color, and features a mixture of Roman numerals and stick indicies.
Presidential Seal Wrist Watch

My mom gave this to my dad many years ago, and they passed it along to me last Christmas. It’s a reminder that not all American presidents have been enormous pieces of shit.
