I just finished the appropriate mucking with xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/common/xf86Events.c in order to get my new keyboard to behave in XFree86. Now all of the keys are generating the appropriate keysyms (with the possible exception of that key to the right of Help that has nothing on it; it generates the same keysym as Props).

This means that I can now make gratuitous use of the Front key in my .fvwm2rc, just as God meant it to be. (Where, by ‘God,’ I mean the person who invented the Front key.)
