Ended up reinstalling Windows twice today. Blargh. On the plus side, Clarence's partitioning scheme is truly irrational now. He's triple-booting Gentoo, FreeBSD, and XP. NetBSD is on the way; I'll install it just as soon as cygwin finishes installing itself. And wow, GRUB really is much cooler than LILO.
