Simplify

Tim Bray on text editors:

If you are editing Java source code, use NetBeans or Eclipse. For everything else, Emacs is by a wide margin the world's most powerful text editor.

Robert Sayre's take:

If you are editing Java source code, use NetBeans or Eclipse IDEA. If you are editing something from Redmond, use Visual Studio. For everything else, Emacs is by a wide margin the world's most powerful text editor.

Personally, I'd alter Tim's claim this way:

If you are editing Java source code, use NetBeans or Eclipse. For everything else, Emacs is by a wide margin the world's most powerful text editor.
