Like Chris, I rarely blog about work, but I’ll also make an exception for the Eventful Politics project we launched recently.

Jed and Alex dreamed this one up as a way to encourage grassroots political change in the US using Eventful Demand. It was a pleasure to put together. In the short time it’s been live, the politics project has generated a fair amount of attention [e.g., 1, 2, 3, & 4], and at least one candidate (Ron Paul (R-TX)) has claimed his Eventful performer page.

It pretty much goes without saying that technology in general, and the Web in particular, have and will bring about significant changes in the way the politics game is played. It’s pretty awesome to be playing a part in that, however small.
