I love seeing my recipe go viral! So amazing!! I had no idea!! I just googled it and wow, huge surprise! ~ I created this toast in 2008 at my home in Oakland Ca, and later got a job in the silicon valley where I made the toast at my desk every day and the chef, Kristin, (same name as me) asked me "why do you buy an avocado every morning, what do you do with it?" and I told her my toast recipe. Two weeks later she came back to say and said she thought it was SO amazing that she was going to put it on the menu! wow! We decided to name it my initials, KH(toast) to not confuse it with her. It later branched to two more corporate cafeterias. And thus the toast was born! ~ So happy to see it inspiriing people and nourishing bods and souls. in gratitude - KH
