Years in review: 2022–2023–2024
In roughly chronological order, 2023 included the following:
- Eryn and I went to Atlanta in January for a friend’s wedding.
- We went on a ski trip to Colorado in February with a bunch of her high school friends.
- We went to Japan in April and marched in the Tokyo Rainbow Pride parade.
- Later in April, I went to the WindUp Watch Fair for the second time.
- I went to France in May for an AC meeting.
- EJ finished kindergarten and started first grade.
- Eryn, EJ, and I spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach in Pajaro Dunes.
- I hired Elika.
- We had a busy Pride weekend! Eryn and I marched in both the Trans March and the Dyke March, and we took EJ to the Pride parade on Sunday.
- EJ spent the summer in a bunch of different summer camps and got to explore artistic, musical, creative, scientific, and athletic interests and activities.
- I took EJ home to Scituate for a week in early August.
- θ Ursae Majoris entered my light cone (i.e. I turned 44).
- TPAC was in Spain in September.
- In October, Eryn and I vacationed in San Diego with a group of her friends from high school. I got to introduce Eryn to a bunch of friends while we were in town.
- In November my Hanshin Tigers won the Japan Series for the first time in 38 years.
- In December EJ went to SoCal with Erin for Christmas while Eryn and I headed to Arizona to spend the holiday with her family and friends.
