@rainbow_burritos is closing in a couple of weeks, and I am going to miss it so much.

Shinjuku Ni-Chōme, Tokyo’s gayborhood, can be difficult to navigate, especially if your Japanese isn’t great. Being trans probably doesn’t help either, to be honest.

Mamiko did something truly special here; @rainbow_burritos is a place for everyone.

I got to share it with some important people in my life, and I made some wonderful friends there. Those friendships span continents now.
