杭州
W3C’s AC meets twice a year. This April we met in the city of Hangzhou in China. The AB also met so, between the two meetings, I was there all week.
There are no direct flights from SFO to Hangzhou (HGH), so I flew to Shanghai (PVG), took the maglev into town, and then caught the Shanghai–Hangzhou high-speed railway to Hangzhou. The future is already here—it’s just not evenly distributed.
This was my third trip to China and my second to its mainland. (I visited Hong Kong and Shenzhen in 2013, and returned to Hong Kong in 2025.)
