De Keukenhof

While in May 2026 we visited the Keukenhof, one of Europe’s largest flower gardens. took hundreds of photos; here are some of my favorites. (Click on them to see them in full size.)

Something about the lighting, the angle, the amount of zoom, something about all those aspects adds up to give the viewer the impression that this is a painting and not a photograph. (It is, in fact, a photograph.)

The grounds

All those flowers have to be planted somewhere, of course, and the grounds themselves are quite lovely in their own right.
